My Story

From Inside to Independent:

A Mission Born from Experience

After 26 years at PaineWebber and UBS, I faced the same questions you might be asking yourself now.

I knew I could serve clients better. I knew there was a better way to build. But I also knew the leap to independence wasn't just about breaking free-it was about building something extraordinary.

In 2019, I made that leap with my team. We launched Great Diamond Partners and transferred $500M in assets. By 2024, we'd grown to about $650M - with a third less staff than typically required. We did this by working smarter, not harder, leveraging the right systems and entrepreneurial frameworks.

But my story isn't really about numbers. It's about possibility.

My first business partner, my father, showed me that success in this industry is built on understanding others and thinking beyond boundaries. It's a legacy I'm proud to carry forward as I help advisors define and achieve their own vision of success.

Today, I'm the coach I wish I'd had. Drawing from over three decades in wealth management, including the challenges and triumphs of my own transition to independence, I help advisors build something truly meaningful.

Why Grandview?

Grandview isn't just a company name-it's a legacy of big thinking. It's the name of my family's property in Castine, Maine, since 1883.

Sitting at the highest point of the coastal town, it's been the backdrop for life's most meaningful moments and a symbol of the expansive vision I bring to every client partnership.
